b. Only Free Men may form recognized households, and must petition the court for recognition and assignation of a mon (household symbol). Households must consist of at least 1 free. Free Men in households are encouraged to take Free Companions. It is an important factor in the Role- Play as such progress will generate your ability to be recognized in the court of Shogun for Civil Services.

c. Free Men are responsible for all their property and Free Women who belong to their households. They are expected to answer for both their own actions and those of their Free Women, contract women, and/or collar girls.
